About Us
CenSea
A Legacy in Every Bite
CenSea is a leading importer and distributor of frozen seafood in the
United States, trusted by foodservice distributors, restaurant chains, and
retailers for our consistency, scale, and service.
Founded in Chicago in 1960 as Central Seaway, we began as a
family-run business with a simple goal: to deliver seafood that meets the
highest standards, consistently
and without compromise.
We source from nearly 25 countries and maintain strong, lasting
relationships across the global supply chain. What sets us apart is more
than the seafood we provide. It’s the reliability, responsiveness, and
support our customers depend on.
As part of the global Captain Fresh Group and with the Ocean Garden
brand in our fold, our story continues, rooted in legacy, strengthened
by innovation, and driven by a shared commitment to quality seafood.
